Schaudt electrical block repair
What is a Schaudt power plant?
The EBL227 electroblock, designed by SCHAUDT, manages electricity in a motorhome. It provides power for essential appliances such as the refrigerator and TV, while also acting as a battery charger for lead-acid and lead-gel batteries. This model incorporates advanced control and monitoring modules, offering precise management of battery status and the entire electrical system. The EBL227 is compatible with SCHAUDT brand control panels and is suitable for all types of motorhome, van or camper van, regardless of manufacturer.
What are the most common faults on an EBL 227 electrical block?
EBL227 power packs frequently experience faults such as reduced range. A faulty voltage regulator can cause incorrect charging, resulting in rapid battery discharge or inability to recharge. Coupling problems refer to the synchronization of energy sources (alternator, 230V grid, solar panels) with the system, which can lead to incorrect energy distribution or an inability to use several sources simultaneously. Malfunctions on 12V outputs, due to a blown fuse, faulty relay or wiring problem, result in the absence of power for the devices concerned.

How can I have it repaired? And how much does the repair cost?
Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been approved by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 round trip (€21 one way and €13 return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to our workshop in Couëron (44).
Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the faults or problems encountered. Once the part has been received in our workshops, one of our specialized electronics technicians will draw up a breakdown diagnosis and a repair plan. You will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been signed and paid for.
Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.

For a more precise estimate of your repair service, please consult the “Estimated service time” section. In the event of an emergency repair, we can offer you an “express lead time” option, so that your part can be taken care of in our workshops within 24 to 48 hours.
