What is an EBL 208 Schaudt electrical block?
The EBL208 electroblock from SCHAUDT provides electrical management of the motorhome. It supplies power to essential equipment such as the refrigerator and TV. It also incorporates a battery charger (module LA 204) compatible with lead-acid and lead-gel batteries. The control unit also includes monitoring modules, including the BW 208 battery monitoring module. The EBL208 is compatible with IT 204, LT50 and LT51 control panels. This electroblock is suitable for use in motorhomes, converted vans and converted vans of all makes.
What are the most common failures of the EBL208?
The EBL208 power pack may present a number of malfunctions. These include charging difficulties on the 230Vac socket, resulting in an inability to recharge batteries correctly via this source. The 12V electrical outputs can also fail, affecting the distribution of the energy needed to power various equipment. Another common concern is the start-up problem, where the system fails to initiate the start-up process correctly, sometimes requiring multiple attempts or manual intervention. How can I have it repaired? And how much does the repair cost?
Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been approved by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 round trip (€21 one way and €13 return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to our workshop in Couëron (44).
Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the faults or problems encountered. Once the part has been received in our workshops, one of our specialized electronics technicians will draw up a breakdown diagnosis and a repair plan. You will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been signed and paid for.
Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
Timescale: On average, we repair your equipment within 72 hours (from the time we receive it to the time it leaves our workshops). For a more precise estimate of your repair service, please consult the “Estimated service time” section. In the event of an emergency repair, we can offer you an “express lead time” option, so that your part can be taken care of in our workshops within 24 to 48 hours.
