The SmartWheel VIP SM211 module, also known as VIP Control Module Series II, is an essential electronic component in heavy-duty vehicles (trucks, buses, motorhomes) fitted with a multifunction steering wheel. It manages communication between the steering wheel buttons (wiper, horn, headlights, cruise, etc.) and the vehicle’s electronic systems. It supplies 5 V DC to power the steering wheel electronics, then decodes the command signals sent by the steering wheel controls. It controls the associated relays (wipers, headlights, cruise…) to activate functions according to actions taken from the steering wheel.

Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been validated by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 round trip (€21 one way and €13 return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to us in Couëron (44).


Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the breakdowns or problems encountered. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been validated.


Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
