What is an E-DISPLAY COMPACT control module?

REICH’s E-DISPLAY control panel simplifies the control of equipment in motorhomes, vans and camper vans of all makes compatible with the E-BOX COMPACT control unit. This control module offers an intuitive interface for monitoring and operating water, light, battery, tank and temperature levels. Equipped with sensors, it provides clear visual warnings on the status of functions, ensuring easy, reliable operation.

What are the most common control screen faults?

The control panel may occasionally exhibit button malfunctions, which can compromise its proper operation. These problems can result from a variety of factors, such as normal wear and tear of buttons due to frequent use, electronic failures, and problems with electronic components. These difficulties have the potential not only to alter the user interface’s usability, but also to disrupt the overall operation of the control device. In addition, display failures can also occur, making it difficult or impossible to read the essential information provided by the panel.

How do I repair a control screen?

If your control module fails, we’ve got the solution! Entrust its repair to our team of electronics technicians. By choosing to repair your part, you avoid throwing it away and buying an expensive new part, the production of which will be harmful to the environment.

Our repair services involve taking charge of your electronic box directly in our workshops. Our technicians will carry out a complete diagnosis of your part’s functions, repair any defective elements and carry out preventive maintenance on damaged or worn components. Our services come with a 1-year warranty on caravan, motorhome, van and van parts.

How can I have it repaired? And how much does the repair cost?

To have your customer's electronic box or equipment repaired, we suggest you go to your online online. You'll be able to make a new “service request” and enter all the information about the part and its problem. Our repair services are reserved for professionals.

Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been approved by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 round trip (€21 one way and €13 return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to our workshop in Couëron (44).

Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the faults or problems encountered. Once the part has been received in our workshops, one of our specialized electronics technicians will draw up a breakdown diagnosis and a repair plan. You will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been signed and paid for.

Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.

Timescale: On average, we repair your equipment within 72 hours (from the time we receive it to the time it leaves our workshops). For a more precise estimate of your repair service, please consult the “Estimated service time” section. In the event of an emergency repair, we can offer you an “express lead time” option, so that your part can be taken care of in our workshops within 24 to 48 hours.
