What is an EBL 271 Schaudt electrical block?
SCHAUDT’s EBL271 electroblock is the central element of electrical management for recreational vehicles. It ensures a reliable power supply for all essential appliances such as refrigerators and televisions. As a versatile battery charger, it supports lead-acid, AGM and lead-gel batteries. Equipped with integrated monitoring modules, including for the battery, it guarantees optimum energy management. In PILOTE motorhomes, it is combined with the PLT02, and is compatible with all types of recreational vehicle, including vans and camper vans of all makes.
This electroblock works with SCHAUDT control panels and is suitable for all types of converted vehicles, including motorhomes, vans and converted vans of all makes.
What are the most common failures of the EBL271?
The Schaudt EBL 271 electric block can suffer from various types of malfunction. Common problems include charging difficulties, such as voltage fluctuations or insufficient battery charge. Coupling problems can also occur, making it difficult to connect to external sources such as solar panels or chargers. 12V electrical outputs may malfunction, impacting the correct operation of connected equipment. Faults in the D+ or D- signal can disrupt the vehicle’s charging system. Finally, problems with defective fuses can cause power interruptions, affecting several of the vehicle’s electrical circuits. How can I have it repaired? And how much does the repair cost?
Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been approved by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 round trip (€21 one way and €13 return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to our workshop in Couëron (44).
Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the faults or problems encountered. Once the part has been received in our workshops, one of our specialized electronics technicians will draw up a breakdown diagnosis and a repair plan. You will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been signed and paid for.
Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
Timescale: On average, we repair your equipment within 72 hours (from the time we receive it to the time it leaves our workshops). For a more precise estimate of your repair service, please consult the “Estimated service time” section. In the event of an emergency repair, we can offer you an “express lead time” option, so that your part can be taken care of in our workshops within 24 to 48 hours.
