What is an EBL 280 Schaudt electrical block?
SCHAUDT’s EBL280 electroblock provides optimum electrical management for motorhomes. It supplies power to various appliances, such as the refrigerator and TV, and also acts as a charger for lead-acid, AGM and lead-gel batteries. Integrating monitoring modules, notably for battery monitoring, it offers a complete solution without the need for additional coupling. Compatible with SCHAUDT control panels, it is suitable for all types of recreational vehicle, including motorhomes, vans and camper vans, whatever their make.
The most common faults encountered on the EBL 280?
Schaudt’s EBL 280 electric block may experience charging problems and failures of the 12V electrical outputs. Charging difficulties include voltage variations and insufficient battery charge, often due to faulty internal components, poor connections or a defective battery. 12V output failures can manifest themselves as inactive outputs, insufficient power or electrical interference, caused by blown fuses, faulty voltage regulators or filtering problems.

How can I have it repaired? And how much does the repair cost?
Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been approved by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 round trip (€21 one way and €13 return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to our workshop in Couëron (44).
Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the faults or problems encountered. Once the part has been received in our workshops, one of our specialized electronics technicians will draw up a breakdown diagnosis and a repair plan. You will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been signed and paid for.
Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
Timescale: On average, we repair your equipment within 72 hours (from the time we receive it to the time it leaves our workshops). For a more precise estimate of your repair service, please consult the “Estimated service time” section. In the event of an emergency repair, we can offer you an “express lead time” option, so that your part can be taken care of in our workshops within 24 to 48 hours.
