Repairing your SCHAUDT EBL263-5 electrical block
What is the role of the Schaudt elektroblock?
The EBL263-5 electroblock from SCHAUDT takes care of the motorhome’s electrical management. It supplies electricity to appliances that require it, such as the refrigerator or TV. It also acts as a battery charger (LA 200 module) for lead-acid and lead-gel batteries. Control and monitoring modules, notably for voltage and water levels, are integrated into the control unit. It is compatible with SCHAUD control panels.
Common EBL263-5 faults
As with any module, the Schaudt EBL263-5 may experience malfunctions or failures. The most frequent problems include charging problems, coupling difficulties, and 12V electrical output failures.
How do I repair a SCHAUDT EBL263-5 elektroblock?
Having problems with your electrical block? Don’t worry! Entrust its repair to our team of electronics technicians. Opting for repair rather than replacement not only saves you money, but also reduces your environmental impact by avoiding the production of electronic waste.
Our repair services include taking direct charge of your electronic box in our workshops. Our technicians diagnose your panel’s functions, repair faulty elements and provide preventive maintenance on damaged or worn components. We offer a one-year warranty on parts for caravans, motorhomes, vans and box vans.
Our customer service team will be happy to discuss repair solutions for your electronic equipment.
How can I have it repaired? And how much does the repair cost?
Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been approved by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 round trip (€21 one way and €13 return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to our workshop in Couëron (44).
Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the faults or problems encountered. Once the part has been received in our workshops, one of our specialized electronics technicians will draw up a breakdown diagnosis and a repair plan. You will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been signed and paid for.
Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
Timescale: On average, we repair your equipment within 72 hours (from the time we receive it to the time it leaves our workshops). For a more precise estimate of your repair service, please consult the “Estimated service time” section. In the event of an emergency repair, we can offer you an “express lead time” option, so that your part can be taken care of in our workshops within 24 to 48 hours.
Customer service : Our customer service team is on hand to answer any technical or practical questions you may have. Our switchboard is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, on 09 72 10 22 50. You can also contact us by email at info@repturn.com.
