Repair of your EMR1/EMR2 ECU on DEUTZ machines
What is the function of the EMR1/EMR2 ECU installed on DEUTZ machines?
The EMR1/EMR2 ECU is installed in a DEUTZ machine. It manages the various functions of the machine’s engine. The ECU is responsible for controlling and supervising your machine’s electronic functions. Acting like a brain, it analyzes the data received to orchestrate the motor’s electrical operation.
What are the most common faults on the EMR1/EMR2 ECU?
It’s likely that your ECU will develop electronic faults over time. A frequent malfunction of this part is a power supply problem. Your ECU is no longer supplied with electricity, and is therefore out of service, bringing your vehicle to a standstill. In fact, despite triggering the starter and using the control interface, your machine’s engine won’t start.

How can I have it repaired? And how much does the repair cost?
Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been approved by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 round trip (€21 one way and €13 return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to our workshop in Couëron (44).
Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the faults or problems encountered. Once the part has been received in our workshops, one of our specialized electronics technicians will draw up a breakdown diagnosis and a repair plan. You will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been signed and paid for.
Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
Timescale: On average, we repair your equipment within 72 hours (from the time we receive it to the time it leaves our workshops). For a more precise estimate of your repair service, please consult the “Estimated service time” section. In the event of an emergency repair, we can offer you an “express lead time” option, so that your part can be taken care of in our workshops within 24 to 48 hours.
