It comprises a transducer and a display unit connected by a cable. The transducer emits high-frequency sound waves that penetrate the water. These waves encounter fish, the bottom or other objects, then return as echoes. FishFinder interprets these echoes and presents them visually on its screen to help users detect and locate fish, and gain a better understanding of underwater topography.
