The role of ABS on a Renault Midlum truck

Wabco ABS 4S/3M, for Renault Midlum or Kerax trucks, is an essential component for optimal braking. An ABS (Antilock Braking System) is designed to prevent wheel lock-up during braking: it uses various sensors to monitor steering angle, truck speed and wheel rotation. It also adjusts brake fluid pressure as the driver applies the brake. The driver in particular uses sensors (4S) and three modulators (3M), which are independent braking channels.

Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the breakdowns or problems encountered. Once the part has been received and diagnosed in our workshops, you will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been validated.


Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
