What is a Clayton electric battery charger?

The LPS 2 battery charger from Clayton Power recharges the battery in your motorhome. The charger’s compatibility with the specific characteristics of batteries found in motorhomes guarantees a safe and rapid recharging process. Its management system enables it to collect energy in 12 V (DC) from an alternator or solar panels, for example, but also in 230 V (AC) via an electrical socket. It then converts the energy into 230 V AC to charge the battery to which it is connected.

The most common faults encountered on a LPS II – 2500 – CL 2002 battery charger?

The Clayton battery charger may experience internal problems that prevent normal battery charging operation. For example, in some cases, charging via the 12V alternator is no longer possible. You may find that charging is still possible on the 230 VAC electrical input, but that the other 12 VDC charging system is not working properly. Or you may find that the battery no longer charges at all. In such cases, the LPS2 power module needs to be checked.

Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been validated by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €35.5 (excl. VAT) return for mainland France and Corsica (€21 (excl. VAT) outward and €14.5 (excl. VAT) return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to us in Couëron (44). For countries in the euro zone, outside France, the cost is €49 (excl. VAT) return. For countries outside the euro zone, transport costs will be quoted on request.


Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the breakdowns or problems encountered. Once the part has been received and diagnosed in our workshops, you will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been validated.


Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
