What is a CBC DE1 power plant?

The CBC DE1 power station from CRAMER meets the energy needs of motorhomes and vans. Similar to an electrical block or circuit board, it supplies electricity and distributes power to motorhome appliances such as the refrigerator, TV, lighting and air conditioning. It also performs the functions of a battery charger, making this box a combined charger/distributor. These 2 functions ensure the safety and efficiency of the vehicle’s electrical system. This CBC DE 1 electrical block model is fitted to various makes of older-generation motorhomes.

The most common faults encountered on a CBC DE1 power plant?

At Repturn, we’re used to encountering charging problems on the CBC-DE1 power plant. The most frequent failures are :

Battery charging problems, battery no longer charges.
Coupling failures with the vehicle, i.e. the battery is no longer charged by the motorhome’s running engine. As a result, the cell block is no longer charged while driving. This problem can lead to undervoltage or overvoltage on the power unit.
Malfunctions on the 12V electrical outlets leading to the motorhome’s electrical appliances.
Total failure of the power plant, resulting in faults throughout the motorhome’s electrical system. This is often due to faulty components or a damaged electrical circuit.

Our repair services involve taking charge of your electronic box directly in our workshops. Our technical teams will carry out a complete diagnosis of your part’s functions, repair defective components and perform preventive maintenance on damaged or worn components. Our services come with a 1-year warranty on motorhome, van and van parts.

How can I have it repaired? And how much does the repair cost?

To have your customer's electronic box or equipment repaired, we suggest you go to your online online. You can then make a new "service request" and enter all the information about the part and its problem. Our repair services are reserved for professionals.

Transport and delivery: You have the option of using our transport service to ship the faulty part from your company. Once your request has been validated by our team, you'll receive a shipping label to stick on the box in which you've packed your part. In this case, the cost of transporting your part is €34 (excl. VAT) return for mainland France and Corsica (€21 (excl. VAT) outward and €13 (excl. VAT) return). You can also choose to ship the part yourself, or hand-deliver it to us in Couëron (44). For countries in the euro zone, outside France, the cost is €46 (excl. VAT) return. For countries outside the euro zone, transport costs will be quoted on request.

Repair rates: For repair services, we draw up customized estimates based on the characteristics of your part and the breakdowns or problems encountered. Once the part has been received and diagnosed in our workshops, you will receive your quotation in your customer area and by email. The service will be carried out once your quotation has been validated.

Warranty: Parts repaired in our workshops are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of repair. This means that if your equipment breaks down again or has a problem within the warranty period, we will pay for transport, any new spare parts and any other services required to keep it running smoothly.
