Repairing the CS-434 transceiver
What is a CS-434 transceiver?
The CS-434 transceiver is the heart of the radio control system used on on-board trucks such as the Palfinger BM 214. Operating on the secure 434 MHz industrial frequency band, this device comprises two elements: the remote control carried by the operator, and the receiver box installed on the truck. This set of boxes enables the machine to be deployed and controlled remotely.
The most frequently encountered faults on a CS-434 module
The CS-434 transceiver is exposed to the elements, temperature variations and strong vibrations in the truck or on the job site, and is prone to a number of typical malfunctions. The ones we’ve already seen in our workshops are battery failure and total breakdown: in both cases, the equipment is unusable. We’ll test your transceiver’s circuitry to identify the source of the fault.
